Open House at Alma's House and Garden

A cosy day at Alma’s House, where you can join a ride on the Railway Museum’s vintage bus. There are plenty of games in the garden, as well as creative activities and board games in the living room. Volunteers will be serving coffee and Danish pastries.

The Ramparts Walk (3,1 km)
Experience the historic moats and ramparts surrounding Nyborg Castle on a scenic walk.
You will pass through the historic town centre, with the old castle and fortifications at its heart, and continue around the castle lake.

Battlefield Walk (10,7 km)
In 1659, Denmark and Sweden are at war, and the decisive battle takes place on the fields outside the royal town of Nyborg, which is occupied by the Swedes. If the Danes win, there is a chance that Denmark will remain Danish. Follow in the soldier’s footsteps on this route just outside Nyborg and imagine the mighty armies facing each other.
